Over the past decade, the Arkansas Career Coach Program has partnered with community colleges and school districts to assist middle and high school students prepare for education and training beyond the high school diploma. During that time, participating school districts and counties have seen an increase in their college-going rate, ACT scores, financial aid applications, and a decrease in remediation. As we move into the next decade, an increased focus is placed on supporting students in the lower grades (grades 5-6), increasing work-based learning participation, and increasing industry-recognized certification attainment. Come learn about the grant application process to implement and/or expand this program in your district.
